Social Justice:
6,5 million people in Germany are poor. At the same time we waste every year about 25 billion Euro for arms. The arms program of the federal government is quite ambitious: 113 billion Euros are slated to be spent for 180 Eurofighters, 60 Military air-busses, 219 Transport helicopters, 3 fregates, 15 corvettes etc. over the next 15 years.
I think social rights of all groups of our population are of higher priority than the profit interests of the arms industry.
For a change in politics!
I stand for:
- raising social spending to the level of military spending (hospitals and new work places in the field of social services are more important than Eurofighters)
- - a top tax rate increase from the present 42% to 53% (like under Helmut Kohl).
- - social rights for all strata of the population.
I take a stand against:
- presents in the whereabouts of billions of Euro for the arms industry (20 billion for Eurofighters, 113 billion for the new arms program)
