In 1999, German tax payers ponied up about 1 billion German marks for the war against Yugoslavia. With this money we could have payed 10,000 people a 5-year retirement benefit of 800 Euro monthly. According to the Federal Audit Office German tax payers spend 24.5 billion Euro for 180 Eurofighters. This money could be used to pay 500,000 people monthly retirement benefits of 800 Euro for a period of 5 years.-
German KSK troops are fighting in Afghanistan under the mandate of “Enduring Freedom”. Their mission is so secret that even German members of parliament do not know what these troops are doing. So it is diffcult to believe that this is a humanitarian mission. German troops fly to Afghanistan via the German airbase in Termez (Uzbekistan). Nowhere in the CIS are human rights more violated than in Uzbekistan. But in spite of this fact, the German government is happy to cooperate with a regime that is well known for its negative human rights record.

My peace activities
1984: Being arrested in Mutlangen for blockading a truck of the US-army. March 1985: Being arrested in Berlin, GDR, on Alexanderplatz for participating in a peace action.
April 1985: serving 20 days in jail for my blockade of a US-Army truck. 1999: Left the Green Party in protest of its approval of the bombing of Belgrade and other cities in Yugoslavia.

1999. Co-founder of the Peace Forum Mцnchengladbach. Organizer of several activities against the war in Yugoslavia, the war in Afghanistan, in Irak and Chechnya. Several publications in the “Friedensforum” (Bonn), a journal of the peace movement.
